I'm Tanja Nickel, romance author and translator for English/German, and I will translate your book into German.

In 2006, I moved to Boston, Massachusetts for an au pair year and studied English and Art at Mount Wachusetts Community College between 2007 and 2009. Later, I lived in Brazil and Switzerland until I returned to Germany in 2011. 

In 2016, after the birth of my second child, I finally made it happen and wrote my first book on the platform Wattpad … in English. Three years and five books later, I decided to translate my own books into German. In 2021, my first publications followed. Since then, I have published ten romance books, with more to come.

In 2022, I came into contact with the Canadian company iGlobe and started translating books for text-based app games for their customers. Over ten of these books have been translated by me until March 2023, before I decided to focus on literary translations.

In the same year, I started translating for the bestselling author duo Kennedy Fox.  

This has been a great experience for me, as I have the opportunity to work directly with colleagues who have achieved what I always wanted to achieve: publishing a bestseller.

What qualifies me to translate your book? My experience as an author. I don't just translate, I also ensure that your texts are appealing and well written in German, without changing the author's style. I take the same care with your books as I do with my own books. As a writer, I know how important it is to put your book baby in the right hands.
